Lessons
Lessons may last 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Within that time my students will practice scales and pieces that they enjoy. I like to set goals, whether that be working towards an ABRSM exam or learning a piece off by heart for fun!

My goal as a teacher is to come alongside my students in their musical journey.
I want to encourage them to choose pieces they enjoy, practice during the week and get creative on the piano. I want to build up their confidence, not only in music but also in a 1-1 setting, where they feel comfortable enough to tell me how their day has been and any new ideas they may have for music.

I Offer...

Preparation for a special event, audition or school project (support with GCSE and A Level music or D of E skill)

I like to build up my students knowledge of music theory and teach them how to read sheet music. This then enables them to learn any song in the future. I'm so keen to build up their confidence so they feel they can perform pieces to family and friends.

Piano lessons will develop fine motor kills, hand eye coordination, visualising shapes and patterns within music. It also builds up self motivation, dedication and overall appreciation for music.
I always ask that my students have a willingness to learn, a good attitude and will listen to my feedback to put into practice at home.

All you need is...

An interest in learning the piano
