Jazz Straszynski

I have been playing piano since a young girl, however my love of music blossomed at the age of 10 when I had the most amazing piano teacher who inspired and encouraged me.

Having the support from my piano teacher I was able to work my way through the ABRSM exams and within 6 years reach up to grade 8.

Whilst studying piano, I also received drum and violin lessons, along with my organ studies.

I've worked with many different music teachers who have encouraged and inspired me to write music, as well as perform cover songs in my own style.

I was just so in love with music and in awe of my piano teacher, that by the time I had completed my grade 8,

I knew I wanted to become a teacher and inspire others.

I have now been teaching for 9 years and have helped students through their piano grades, theory exams, auditions, and built up their confidence with music.

Alongside piano teaching, I also perform as a solo artist playing piano and singing songs from covers and my own originals.

Over the years I have been in many different talent shows and even worked with a producer to release my first debut album in 2016.

When covid hit beginning of 2020, I stopped teaching face to face and started online.

At first, I wasn't quite sure whether it would work but it then became a great success!

Since then, online piano lessons have taken off.

It's very different to just watching youtube videos and teaching yourself a piece of music.

I offer so much more than piano lessons,

I want to build a rapport and encourage you through your musical journey!

I now offer Face to Face and Online Piano Lessons.
